Hi!
I am a third-year student studying Graphic and Web Design at John Abbott College.
My journey with art has been one of negligence and lack of exploration. However, since joining the design program at John Abbott College, I’ve rekindled the creative part of myself that I lost.
I’ve learned much about the principles, elements and rules of design, and have built central skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, all of which have broadened my knowledge and application of graphic design. I love a good challenge in new projects, and am very diligent in my work. I am always eager to learn more about illustration and web design.
I used repeated lines that follow the same movement as the letter S, setting the energy and mood of Soolking’s music. For the image, I used Photoshop to add a colour fill of purple with a linear burn effect to set a warm tone across the image.
